The stands
What are the stands made of?
Laminated MDF with a wipe-clean finish. The lamination is what lets you clean the surface and use the stand again and again.
How much weight can a stand hold?
Each stand is load tested to 3 kg. We recommend using it with cakes up to 2 kg, which leaves a comfortable safety margin.
What size cake fits?
The top takes cake boards up to 24 cm. Every stand is 23 cm high and 24 cm across.
Does the cake sit directly on the stand?
We recommend placing your cake on a cake board first, then setting the board on the stand. It makes serving easier and keeps the stand clean for next time.
Assembly and care
How does assembly work?
The pieces slot together by hand in seconds. No tools, no glue, no instructions to decipher. Most of our stands come as three pieces; the Happy Birthday stand has four.
Can I take it apart again?
Yes. That's the point. It comes apart as easily as it goes together and stores completely flat, so it takes up a drawer rather than a shelf.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a dry cloth or a lightly damp one. Don't submerge it in water.
Is it really reusable?
Yes. These are built to come out for every celebration, not to be thrown away after one party.
Ordering
What does shipping cost?
A flat Rs. 100 anywhere in India. International shipping is a flat Rs. 1,800.
Do you offer Cash on Delivery?
Not at the moment. We currently accept prepaid payments only.
Can I return something?
Yes, within 7 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
What if it arrives damaged?
Send us a photo within 48 hours at sales@nikkicakestands.com and we'll arrange a replacement.
